ATTINY841-MMHR breakout board as a substitute for Attiny841-SSU

I am about to finalize a breakout board for Attiny841-MMHR.
That is the Attiny841 in a VQFN Package ( 3x3 mm ; pitch 0.45 mm ).
This board would be 7x10 mm with castellated holes on the edge.
So it should be easy to solder it on the Attiny841-SSU footprint on the modules.

Did anyone try this before?
Is this a completely stupid idea?

I would make pcb panel of maybe 10 x 8 of these modules and let jlcpcb ( or some other fab ) solder the chip.

Thanks for any feedback.

Regards
Joerg
