Annual demand

I noticed a few installations on heatpumpmonitor.org have zero in the kWh/m² column, including mine, which I suspect is due to them not having the annual heat demand figures.

May the annual heat demand figures for space and water heating be based on historic household data? I have a record of our annual consumption for the last couple of years.

Or should it just be what the installer has calculated as part of the heat loss survey?
