All my feeds stopped recording data on emoncms.org

Hi Everybody,

Since several days I am posting up time (and couple of other variables) of ESP8266 modules on emoncms.org as shown below:

About 2016-06-23 22:32:00, basing on what I see in the Data viewer, all my feeds stopped recording data:

On the other hand I still see changes in the Feeds, column Updated: like “14s ago”, etc:

If I create a new feed, post couple of samples and open it in the Data viewer, then I see dozens of lines with the following error:

Request error Warning: unpack(): Type x: not enough input, need 1, have 0 in /var/www/emoncms/Modules/feed/engine/PHPTimeSeries.php on line 347 Warning: unpack(): Type x: not enough input, need 1, have 0 in /var/www/emoncms/Modules/feed/engine/PHPTimeSeries.php on line 347 Warning: unpack(): Type x: not enough input, need 1, have 0 in /var/www/emoncms/Modules/feed/engine/PHPTimeSeries.php on line 347 Warning: unpack(): Type x: not enough input, need 1, have 0 in /var/www/emoncms/Modules/feed/engine/PHPTimeSeries.php on line 347 Warning: unpack(): Type x: not enough input, need 1, have 0 in /var/www/emoncms/Modules/feed/engine/PHPTimeSeries.php on line 347 Warning: unpack(): Type x: not enough input, need 1, have 0 in /var/www/emoncms/Modules/feed/engine/PHPTimeSeries.php on line 347 Warning: unpack(): Type x: not enough input, need 1, have 0 in /var/www/emoncms/Modules/feed/engine/PHPTimeSeries.php on line 347 Warning: unpack():

What could be the cause of this issue?
Did I hit some data storage limit or I am posting too often?

Krzysztof

I’ve adjusted your account. You should be able to upload your images now.

OK, thanks for upgrading my account.
I have updated missing images.
Krzysztof

emoncms.org has a posting limit of 10s interval.

I have five ESP8266 modules and each is posting independently once per minute.
Posting time is not synchronized and they may end up posting at similar / the same time instead of every 12s sharp.
May this be the issue?
.

Should be fine. Would you mind PM’ing me your emoncms.org username. Would you mind if I took a look at your accont?

Glyn,
Thank you for support with this issue!
PM sent.
Krzysztof

The error was due to an issue with emoncms.org server, this should now be fixed by @TrystanLea. Please confirm

Hi Glyn and Trystan,

Starting on 2016-06-24 19:30:00 all my feeds are recording the data again:

Thanks a lot for resolving this issue!

Krzysztof

Apologies there has been an issue on emoncms.org for a day or so on one of the servers affecting a limited number of feeds. This has been solved now. Please confirm.

Hello Glyn

Since about 2 hours, my feeds are not updated at all. Could you please take a look?
Thanks in advance

What is your emoncms username? Are your feeds still updating on your emonPi / emonBase? What does emonhub.log show on the emonPi?

Hello Glyn

Thanks for your quick answer.

Since around Midnight, everything is back to normal.

logfile was recording the data on my Raspberry and it looked as the data
was sent to emoncms.org. I can confirm this because I have 2 other
instances that were correctly receiving the data, one is Thingspeak and
the other is a emoncms.org cloud instance on a shared server.

I still have an “archaic” system; emontx with RFM12B (433 MHz) and
Raspberry with RFM69Pi.

Thanks again

Great. Nothing wrong with that, I still have one of those systems in my house also
